Unfolding Identities, 2026
Recent cyanotype diptych for Unfolding Identities exhibition at Westminster City Hall. New work is being shown alongside some incredible ESEA artists at Westminster City Hall.
My pieces were made from delving through family photos, working with Peranakan stitching again, and stirring some myth imagery through. The exhibition is a showcase of contemporary East and South East Asian artists opening in time for the Lunar New Year - Year of the Horse

Scattered Stories, 2025
Work taken from my solo exhibition - exploring family narratives alongside both European and Chinese folklore

Based on the Wild Swans by Hans Christian Andersen, I drew on other variations of the story to inspire this painting, sewing gold necklaces into the paper and adorning them with golden crowns.

Moon Wing, 2024
A watercolour and gold leaf series of paintings exploring my Celtic and Chinese heritage. Folktales and storytelling interplay with bird symbols from each culture.

A barn owl carries a golden swirling mass across the moon in this painting. I played with the belief that owls are the guardians of souls, transporting spirits to the afterlife in various cultures and folklore.

Chinese cranes swoop across a moon carrying golden stars in this folk-tale inspired painting. I created the original using watercolours, embellishing each painting with gold ink or gold leaf.

Lanyue (蓝月), 2024
A watercolour series of moon paintings, incorporating Perankan embroidery features from Singaporean textile, that have also come to signify mycelium and network.

Folk Tale, 2020
A series using a blue and gold palette exploring stories from both European and South East Asian folklore. Selkies, dragons, rabbits in the moon make their way onto paper.
